SEATTLE, March 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Onvia (Nasdaq: ONVI) today announced it will offer online search of its government business intelligence database beginning April 3, providing clients with self-directed access to one of the largest databases of government procurement information, placing it at the forefront of business intelligence products.

Known as Onvia Navigator, the tool will provide guided online search of Onvia’s government business intelligence database of more than 2.6 million government procurement records, across 71,000 purchasing offices, representing 292,000 government buyers, and connecting to more than 181,000 companies. Onvia Navigator will enable clients to explore new business opportunities, gather competitive government procurement information, and locate hard-to-find contact information for government decision makers.

Onvia Navigator is just one of the ways clients can access Onvia’s government procurement information database. Clients can also be alerted to new opportunities, award notices, and other current announcements through Onvia Guide, a daily electronic notification service. Clients can research owners, buyers, vendors, and project histories for specific procurement opportunities through Onvia Business Builder.
